Winter sunshine from Andalusia

I would like to share my best moments, photos and clothes from my last trip to sunny Spain. It was a winter break but there was really warm. Fashion blogging is not only one my hobby I love also travelling  and capturing beautiful landmarks,landscape  and scenery abroad. This was my first holiday in Costa de Sol. I did not know what to take with me as I was bit confused but finally I needed  mostly only light clothes as the temperature there was around 20 C.

Coming to Málaga and Costa del Sol means finding beautiful landscapes, fabulous beaches, delicious food, interesting customs and traditions. It means discovering a rich cultural heritage, amazing coastal areas, and charming white hinterland villages. It is unveiling marvellous secrets that will make  stay unforgettable.

I would like to create separate part on a blog regarding my past travelling and show some  photos from different parts of world from Europe,Africa to latin America . This time I will show some nice photos from Benalmadena near Malaga

We have stayed in the lovely hotel on the hill Polynesia spa resort and part of the complex which  were mostly closed during the winter months. Only our hotel was still open 

The hotel has only sea view but to get to the nearest simply sandy beach takes only 15 min by walk. There is lovely water park with pirate boats and a lot of activities for youngest but it was closed too.

The view from the hotel was really spectacular and remind me about Tenerife as from one site is a sea coast and from other is a mountain view . Especially breathtaking moments.

The hotel inside is specially designed to look like a paradise South Pacific Island with waterfalls, birds, tortoise ,robe bridge in the lobby and give tropical and exotic feel .

Next day we walked down to the Caravajal beach to admire lovely scenery . It was exceptionally warm and sunny day without any wind and with blue sky without any clouds .
We could easy wear a distressed and ripped unbranded vintage shorts and silk parsley blouse from Birger et Mikkelsen.

Later on I have enjoyed sunny afternoon in the Ted Baker romantic floral dress.

Spanish people celebrating the New Year Eve very solemnly and in sophisticated way. We had a pleasure to take part in a big party in hotel together with the local spanish people. On the beginning were coctails and cold snacks served in the lobby follow by 3 course dinner in the main restaurant. We were siting ,eating ,drinking and socialising with others. Before midnight they gave us 12 grapes.
Eating 12 grapes at midnight on New Year’s Eve is both a tradition and a superstition in Spain. Rare is the Spaniard who will risk poisoning their fate for the coming year by skipping the grapes, one for each stroke of midnight.
Americans may giddily greet the New Year downing a glass of champagne and grabbing a kiss at the drop of the ball. But the first 12 seconds of the Spaniards’ New Year are somewhat quieter and more intense, as everyone focuses on eating all 12 of the “miraculous grapes” that symbolise 12 lucky months ahead.
Eating the grapes pretty much guarantees starting off the year with a little adrenaline rush, and most likely some laughs. While  the goal of getting the 12 grapes down in time can spark a contest of who is más macho around the table, the biggest challenge is more likely to be not gagging as you cram them in your mouth and try to swallow while laughing hysterically.

The landscape of Costa de Sol remind me well about Tenerife as also sea from one side and mountain from other.

Before the end of our holiday we have visited by bus the harbour with nice cosy coffee places around. Near the Marina is a lovely and sandy big beach with wide choice of water sports available during the summer months. 

In a  beautiful floral,colourful silk top with frill around the waist and rose gold jeans by Birger et Mikkelsen and accompaniment by green peas leather bag with rose gold chain too and Birkenstock sandals for comfort and easy walk. I love to photograph myself with the flowers and green nature around.
