Ending winter season in Isabel Marant and Polo Ralph Lauren style

Long Easter weekend was a really cold time and I had an opportunity to wear my latest hot purchase from iconic french fashion guru Isabel Marant.
Worn in 2014 by Rihanna queen of pop music and fashion street style. Patchwork kimono oversized cotton duvet in military green blocks. I went for a size 40 which is uncredible big but the style should be like that I think.
Isabel Marant Etoile Flor Double-Breasted Quilted Coat
She was rocked fabulous outerwear by Isabel Marant
In army green block pattern and a belt to cinch at the waist.
Isabel Marant Etoile Flor double-breasted quilted coat crafted of colour block cotton poplin and canvas.
Panel construction, oversize silhouette, shawl collar, diagonal jetted welt pockets, hidden double-breasted snap closures, removable cotton webbed belt at waist
Snaps at front, ties at waist. Lined, available in Khaki and Made of 100%Cotton.
This is the Flor quilted coat, which is a not-so-typical puffer coat. Flor comes in shades of green – mostly olive and khaki accented with a deep moss colour.

It is extremely difficult now to get hold of this item as was sold immediately after media spotted and  announced Rihanna. I am so lucky as friend of mine works in the factory in Istanbul  and they managed to store few pieces in both colours as also available in blue-black. At the moment is almost finish of the cold season in England but will be perfect for upcoming Autumn -Winter 2016 season. I love the fabric as is natural breathable cotton and really stylish and fashionable design.
Very versatile from causal with jeans and Timberland or more chic and classy over the dress or smart shorts with black long leather boots.
I worn mine to Langley Park with dark blue Ted Baker vintage jeans and Australia Luxe short cosy boots.

If we are still staying in the green shades I will show my black Être Cécile boyfriend tape sweatshirt with  green-silver diagonal stripes.

and now came time for  Ralph Lauren checkered cropped jacket made of wool and alpaca .
In the shades of brown, green and red with buckles around wrists and pockets in the front. Nice fluffy brown collar with buckle too for closing around the neck.
Beautiful countryside tartan pattern outside and silky satin brown lining . Very softy and warm garment perfect for weekends trip and causal purpose.

Tartan is a pattern consisting of criss-crossed horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colours. Tartans originated in woven wool, but now they are made in many other materials. Tartan is particularly associated with Scotland. Scottish kilts almost always have tartan patterns. Tartan is often called plaid in North America, but in Scotland, a plaid is a tartan cloth slung over the shoulder as a kilt accessory, or a plain ordinary blanket such as one would have on a bed.
Tartan is made with alternating bands of coloured (pre-dyed) threads woven as both warp and weft at right angles to each other. The weft is woven in a simple twill, two over — two under the warp, advancing one thread at each pass. This forms visible diagonal lines where different colours cross, which give the appearance of new colours blended from the original ones. The resulting blocks of colour repeat vertically and horizontally in a distinctive pattern of squares and lines known as a sett.

In the Victorian and Edwardian eras, tartan-clad garments featured in fashion catalogues. By then, tartan had shifted from being mainly a component of men's clothing to become an important part of women's fashion. In consequence of its association with the British aristocracy and military, tartan developed an air of dignity and exclusivity. Because of this, tartan has made reappearances in the world of fashion several times. For instance, tartan made a resurgence in its use in punk fashion. In the late 1970s, punk music was a way for youth in the British Isles to voice their discontent with the ruling class. The unorthodox use of tartan, which had long been associated with authority and gentility, was then seen as the expression of discontent against modern society. In this way tartan, worn unconventionally, became an anti-establishment symbol.

As soon will be warm and sunny and is a good idea to bring some colourful and playful outfits.
At the beginning is time for some funky lemon image.

Wearing Polo Ralph Lauren neon yellow cable crew neck jumper and Hunter wellies boots. I compliment my look with funky oversized matching glasses for cheeky effect.

My Polo Ralph Lauren poncho deserves to be announced here too.
An epic fashion success story, Ralph Lauren is one of the biggest and most recognisable brands in the world. Vintage furs to keep us warm and stylish

Is a lot of discussion every where and debates about sense of wearing natural furs regarding the cruelty to the animals. I have to honestly admit that I prefer natural furs than faux ones but I always try to discover the origin of the fur to make sure that the animals are treated properly. We have to just accept that some animals are raised for furs and skin and no one can change that unless they will bring world general rules and regulation and forbid to make and sale natural furs worldwide. Apparently a lot of high fashion designers are removing now the natural fur from the catwalks and collection.  I fully agree and understand that but we have to be aware as well that in certain countries wearing fur is not only for fashion reason but mostly for protecting from cold temperature. Natural furs are synonyms of luxury and style but also they are breathable and durable. I am wearing usually vintage type of furs made of rabbits, fox and similar types but not from exotic and wild animals.
Furs can last for ever and they are available not only as jackets or gilets but could be attached to the boots ,bags or hats as a accessories. I am also a huge fan of shearling sheep or lamb skin products.
Today I will show three fur waistcoats in different editions.

Here above is a vintage beige-grey long gilet with burgundy leather leggings and angora cream jumper and decorated by subtle Misaki matching pearls.

Here my favourite rabbit with mink multi colour waistcoat with fashionable rust details set up with matching jumper and black leather LK Bennett trousers. Below beautiful, romantic and nostalgic photo session in the park.

and on the end sheep skin beige gilet with faux fur burgundy collar.
